Free Play Houston is a collective of caregivers in the Houston metro area, who are passionate about play and children’s rights, and advocate for more of them.
Free Play Houston’s mission is to support Houston parents and caregivers in protecting our children’s right to play.
OUR GOALS
GOAL 1
to educate Houstonians on children’s play rights
GOAL 2
to identify, bring light to, and help improve structural barriers to play
GOAL 3
to initiate efforts that center young people’s (ages 0-18) right to play within homes, neighborhoods, schools, and communities
GOAL 4
to collaborate with other organizations on community-driven ideas that promote more time and space for play
